Genetics
We believe this pursuit of perfection starts with superior genetics. We only purchase Black Angus Steers and Wagyu cross from specially selected suppliers, ensuring all of our cattle exhibit exceptional marbling characteristics.
We know our cattle are happy
Our perfect positioning provides optimal conditions for cattle. Situated in the pristine New England Tablelands at an altitude of 3,300 feet, Rangers Valley provides a picturesque, stress free, cool climate environment with abundant rainfall.
Marbling doesn’t happen overnight
It takes patience and dedication. We achieve maximum marbling with specialised vegetarian grain rations to ensure our cattle grow at a slow, natural rate, similar to that of a pasture fed animal. This approach delivers beef products that consistently achieve marbling scores of MB3+ to MB9+. MORE
Environmental vision
Our vision is simple; to be the global leader in premium beef production, meeting the needs of the present without compromising the future. MORE
We don’t cut corners
Not all grain fed Angus or Wagyu is created equal. The longer and more slowly an animal is fed, the greater the marbling, and more marbling means more flavour and tenderness. We average 270 days for our BlackAngus and 350 days for our Wagyu. MORE
100% Integrity
Rangers Valley uses the industry AUSMEAT grading system to ensure 100% integrity. Were also accredited and use Meat Standards Australia (MSA) technology and systems throughout our supply chain to further substantiate the integrity of our products.
Our animals are our business
And they mean the world to us. We’re committed to whole of life animal welfare and the humane and respectful handling of all our animals. MORE
As natural as can be
We don’t believe in using hormone growth promotants. We’re proud to report that our cattle are 100% HGP free. We also only administer antibiotics to single animals when necessary for treatment.
